This was our second visit to Tizipo Village near Weibao Mountain, and we were searching for the large meadow hidden deep in the mountains. During a previous stroll through the village, an elderly woman pointed to the endless ravines east of the village and told us that deep inside there was a vast meadow where villagers grazed cattle and sheep. She said if we followed the animals, we would surely find it, though the journey was quite far. We were lucky to meet a young man at the village entrance who was delivering lunch to his family working in the fields. He pointed to the muddy road east of the village and told us to follow it. If we lost the way, the babbling stream would be the best guide; following it would also allow us to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and avoid getting lost.

We set off lightly on this winding, gentle mountain path. Autumn was gradually encroaching on the forests and fields along the way. White clouds lingered at the mountain's edge, reluctant to leave completely. Though the blue sky was not entirely clear, there was no sign of rain.

Outside the village, a farmer was plowing a harvested cornfield, which would soon be planted with tribute vegetables.

After two kilometers, we saw the first meadow. Alpine meadows are the grandest stage nature offers us. Here, the sky seems within reach, and the mountains appear lower. Starting from the foot of the mountain, we followed a winding path, gradually ascending into the embrace of the meadow. Wildflowers bloomed in a riot of colors, like nature's palette, adding vivid hues to our hike.

Walking on the meadow, every step felt the softness and inclusiveness of the earth. The wind, a frequent visitor here, gently brushed the tips of the grass, bringing the chill from distant peaks and the freshness of the forest. We slowed down, listening to the whispers of the wind, feeling the tranquility and vastness of the alpine meadow.

The stream beside the path followed the dirt road, sometimes babbling softly, sometimes roaring, as if accompanying our hike. We walked along the stream, feeling the coolness and freshness of the water. By the stream, we found a flat rock and decided to rest for a while. The stream gathered into a small, clear pool. We washed away the fatigue of the journey, enjoying nature's gift.

As the path extended, the open meadow was replaced by narrow, rugged mountain trails in the forest. We were gradually entering the realm of the forest. The trees here were tall and ancient, with dense foliage blocking the sky. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows, adding a mysterious atmosphere to the forest. We carefully made our way through, each step filled with the thrill of exploration. Deep in the forest, life thrived. We could hear birds singing, insects chirping, and even the sound of trees growing. These sounds intertwined into a symphony of life. We paused, listening intently, feeling the vitality and energy of the forest.

Beyond the second meadow, the path became increasingly narrow and secluded, the forest denser, and the sky smaller. We decided to end our hike here. Hiking is not just physical exercise but also a journey for the soul. In the mountains, we learned to coexist harmoniously with nature, to find joy in challenges, and strength in tranquility. Each hike is a journey of self-discovery and a deeper dialogue with nature. In the mountains, we are not just passersby but partners of nature. Let us continue to seek more hiking journeys in this world with awe and gratitude.

On the way back, a big yellow dog was tied near a shed by the roadside. It was the friendliest dog we had ever met, just quietly watching us pass without a single anxious bark.

About a kilometer from the end, the ever-changing mountain weather finally unleashed a sudden downpour. With no shelter, we had to brave the rain, completing our hike in a rather disheveled state.

"Eyes follow the returning swan, hands strum the five strings." Always seeking, in this unrecognizable mortal world, a path as carefree as drifting clouds and wild cranes. Fortunately, there lies an ocean of poetry and lyrics, which has gifted me boundless beauty. Often, I sail upon it, quietly savoring that beauty. Even more fortunate are those standing on the shore — who cherish the beauty I cherish, and keep me free from hunger and cold, allowing me to devote myself wholly to this joy.
